Staff Accountant

Kforce's client, a growing CPA firm with diversified clients, is seeking a Staff Accountant in Islandia, NY. This permanent role offers potential for advancement within a firm that has been in existence for over 40 years. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of recent public accounting experience, strong skills in tax preparation, QuickBooks, and Excel, and must be a self-starter able to work onsite in Suffolk County. Kforce's client, a growing CPA firm with diversified clients, seeks a Staff Accountant in Islandia, NY. This firm has been in existence for over 40 years and consists of 10 accountants with 3 support staff. This role offers potential for advancement within the firm, healthcare benefits, salary deferment and retirement contribution available.

Requirements

• CPA is a plus
• 3-6+ years of experience
• 3+ years of recent public accounting experience
• Must be experienced in tax preparation, QuickBooks, and Excel
• Must be a self-starter
• Long Island resident; Able to work on sight in the lovely Suffolk County office

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
